Children from Kimberley School went on a shopping spree at Giltbrook Retail Park, Nottingham, courtesy of the landlords and some of the retailers.
British Land provided the school with a cheque for £1,000 to buy specialist equipment for a physio room, to make it more user friendly and less sterile. Nathan describes the room as
"... a bit boring. It's not colourful and hasn't changed a bit since it was first built. I think it'll be great when we get new stuff. It will be a much nicer place to be in and be more relaxing.
"Reece also says: 'It's a bit like a hospital' He 'wants a room that is different from a school room - to calm down'
The students bought a CD player from Comet, some comfy pillows from BHS and various finishing touches from IKEA, before being treated to lunch courtesy of Frankie & Bennys.
