Kimberley School make music for charity
20 April 2009

On Easter Saturday, 4th April 2009, children from the local Kimberley School delighted shoppers when they brought their samba band and choir to Giltbrook Retail Park.

As part of their fundraising for local charity When you wish upon a star, the band played and the choir sang, while tea and coffee was provided by Starbucks.  Hovis also attended the site, giving out bread and hot cross buns to customers who donated to the charity.

Over £600 was collected on the day, with more to follow from store collections at BHS, Next and Starbucks.

Once all donations have been collected and counted, we will put an update on the website, to reveal the total amount raised.
